TAT #2 -- PaulStretch

Here is a TAT presented by Matthew Bryant on "PaulStretch". This is a free downloadable software program for mac or pc. It is an interesting new method for extensive time-stretching (up to 800 times) and creates ambient music out of popular tunes.

"Tips and Tricks" (TATs) from the CME experts

Each semester, students in the Computer Music Ensemble share "Tips and Tricks" with the class. We are now recording these TATs as mini tutorials and posting them here on the blog so others have access to this wealth of knowledge.

This first TAT, by Andrew Hyde entitled "Absynth Mutation" demonstrates how to make new and exciting sounds using the Mutation feature in Native Instrument's synthesizer Absynth. Thanks Andrew!
